Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Factory Logistics Coordinator manages and controls inventory stored in external warehouses, keeping stock records accurate and products traceable so that materials and finished goods are available for business needs. The role coordinates warehouse inventory transactions, stock reconciliation and logistics with third-party warehouse providers, in line with food safety, quality and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods, ensure accurate stock recording and support cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate material receipt, storage, issuance and transfer, and keep materials available for production lines.
• Monitor material consumption and report variances, and coordinate inter-warehouse and inter-factory stock transfers.
• Ensure proper storage practices, warehouse organisation and accurate documentation, and monitor FIFO/FEFO compliance where applicable.
• Process goods receipts, issues, transfers and inventory adjustments in ERP systems, and generate daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports.
• Support logistics improvement projects, monitor logistics KPIs, and take part in root cause analysis of logistics issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain (planning, logistics and customer service).
• Negotiation skills and customer service management.

Required skills

• Systems knowledge is essential, as the role manages one or more systems such as Excel and SAP.
