Logistics Officer – Inbound Operations & Inventory Management

About the role

The Logistics Officer will oversee inbound operations and manage inventory, ensuring smooth coordination between carriers, suppliers, customs brokers, and internal teams. This role is pivotal for timely delivery and accurate stock control.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outbound activities for customer orders and shipments.
• Coordinate with clearing and forwarding agents, monitoring turnaround time (TAT).
• Process and document letters of credit (LC) for shipments.
• Arrange transportation, track shipments, and update customers.
• Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams for seamless execution.
• Work with clearing agents and customs to maximize efficiency.
• Verify export customs documentation and ownership transfers.
• Handle stock movement via the Warehouse Management System and conduct monthly audits.
• Coordinate invoicing with CRM and credit teams.
• Maintain warehouse petty cash.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in logistics, import operations, or supply‑chain coordination.
• Strong familiarity with Egyptian customs procedures and platforms such as Nafeza, GOEIC, and NTRA.
• Good understanding of international shipping, Incoterms, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
• Experience in stock control, ASN management, GRN processing, inventory counts, and warehouse coordination.
