Logistics Planner

About the role

The Logistics Planner will oversee end‑to‑end logistics operations for both inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring smooth material flow across air, sea and multimodal transport. Working closely with warehousing, planning and finance teams, the role supports on‑time delivery and cost‑effective transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments through air, sea and multimodal modes.
• Maintain relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and suppliers to ensure efficient transport and customs clearance.
• Optimize logistics costs, lead times and load utilization by planning container and truck loads and consolidating shipments.
• Develop shipment schedules aligned with production and raw‑material availability.
• Monitor freight forwarder performance against SLAs, KPIs and cost targets.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of shipments to meet OTIF targets for direct deliveries and distribution centers.
• Prepare and maintain import/export documentation, ensure customs compliance and keep ERP records up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in logistics or supply‑chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of import/export procedures, freight forwarding and customs clearance.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other Office applications.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
