Logistics Specialist (Entry Level)

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an enthusiastic Logistics Specialist to join its supply chain team in Cairo. This entry‑level position supports the end‑to‑end movement of goods, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations while delivering cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Properly pack, mark, label, and record weight and dimensions for cargo.
• Coordinate pre‑shipping instructions and maintain accurate logs, files, and supporting documents.
• Manage domestic and international shipments in compliance with applicable laws.
• Execute documentation for all transport modes (ocean, air, land) and handle hazardous movement constraints.
• Interface with customers to provide shipment status updates.
• Assist Finance & Accounting with validation of rates and invoice charges.
• Utilize SAP and other logistics systems to process shipments and record data for trend analysis.

Required profile

• Completed 2‑year degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or Engineering (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Entry‑level candidate; no prior professional experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP logistics modules.
