Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will coordinate export orders, manage container bookings and ensure timely shipment of products. You will act as the link between sales, planning, warehouse, clearance and shipping partners to guarantee smooth export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive sales order schedules from the export customer manager and monitor activation against required arrival times.
• Make reservations with shipping lines according to the loading plan, seeking the best service at the lowest cost.
• Coordinate with Planning to verify raw‑material availability and align production plans with shipment dates.
• Find solutions for shipping and arrival issues when production cannot meet requirements.
• Work with the clearance department to open customs certificates for shipments.
• Initiate container ordering with transport companies based on agreed loading times.
• Send loading orders to the warehouse department promptly after container booking.
• Monitor client financial status for approval or rejection of shipments.
• Track container movements 24/7 and ensure warehouse loading aligns with container arrival schedules.
• Prepare bills of lading and deliver them to the documents department within 48 hours of vehicle departure.
• Report daily on export sales, container data, and shipping schedules.
• Receive shipping invoices and forward them to the finance department.
• Oversee container condition, arrange repairs, and intervene within 24 hours of any breakdown.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, export coordination or related areas.
• Strong understanding of export processes, customs documentation and container management.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders.
