Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor (also referred to as Logistics Advisor) provides strategic and operational support to optimise transportation, warehousing, inventory and distribution processes. The role aims to boost supply‑chain performance, lower operational costs, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on and support planning, execution, and optimisation of logistics operations.
• Analyse transportation, warehousing and distribution processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that enhance efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Monitor logistics KPIs such as delivery performance, inventory accuracy, transportation costs and service levels.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply‑chain, production and finance teams for seamless operations.
• Support vendor and 3PL management, including performance monitoring and contract compliance.
• Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations and customs requirements.
• Identify and mitigate logistics risks, creating contingency plans for disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CSCP or CLTD are preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in logistics, supply‑chain, transportation or related areas, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle ERP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation management and warehousing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
