Maintenance Engineer (Audio/Video Studio Equipment)

About the role

Envision Employment Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support a global leader in IT services and consulting. The role focuses on hands‑on configuration, maintenance and support of audio, video and film studio production equipment, particularly video playback devices.

Key responsibilities

• Install, set‑up and maintain video and audio equipment to ensure technical signal quality standards.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance on studio hardware, computers and IT room equipment.
• Execute first‑tier VTR maintenance, including alignment, board exchange and coordination with vendor‑provided services.
• Document maintenance procedures, incidents and recommend improvements to prevent equipment failures.
• Configure network settings for AV devices and manage equipment moves between racks.
• Communicate with equipment vendors and program providers to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Communications, Broadcast or Media Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in audiovisual or broadcast studio maintenance.
• Proven ability to maintain, configure, troubleshoot and repair audio, video and film production equipment.
• Experience working in a broadcaster, post‑production facility or similar technical environment.
