Maintenance Planning Technician & Spare Parts Warehouse Keeper

About the role

The Maintenance Planning Technician ensures that maintenance activities run smoothly by managing work orders in SAP‑PM and overseeing the spare‑parts warehouse. You will guarantee the availability of critical components, support preventive maintenance schedules, and keep accurate records of equipment history and key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update and close maintenance work orders in SAP‑PM, and prepare preventive maintenance plans and schedules.
• Maintain equipment master data, task lists, bill of materials and maintenance history within SAP.
• Generate maintenance reports, KPIs and backlog analyses, and track notifications and pending actions.
• Manage receiving, issuing and storage of spare parts, monitor stock levels and enforce minimum/maximum inventories.
• Coordinate with procurement to replenish critical items, perform periodic inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Ensure correct labeling, identification and safe storage of parts, and monitor obsolete or slow‑moving stock.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations and procurement teams to guarantee parts availability before planned jobs and support shutdown planning.
• Participate in audits, uphold safety procedures and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in industrial maintenance, administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a planning technician, preferably in pharmaceutical or FMCG environments.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
