Maintenance & Reliability Engineer – Alexandria Plant

About the role

Join Mondelēz International at the Alexandria plant as a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer. You will be the technical champion for equipment and processes, driving continuous improvement, safety, and cost efficiency across the production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Morale).
• Lead daily management system meetings and own technology, process settings, and centerline management.
• Manage progressive maintenance systems, KPIs, and the line’s repair & maintenance budget.
• Design, implement, and execute preventive and time‑based maintenance plans while building technicians’ capabilities.
• Act as the site technology owner in regional and global forums and support asset‑reliability initiatives.
• Drive change management, spare part localization, breakdown analysis, and cost‑reduction projects.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for a component category and train staff on PM practices.

Required profile

• Strong desire to advance a career in industrial maintenance and reliability.
• Advanced knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance (Step 4) and Progressive Maintenance (Step 3).
• Proven ability to maintain dedicated equipment independently, applying AM, PM, and TPM Phase 3‑4 problem‑solving tools.
• Experience leading line‑level initiatives, coaching SWP owners, and applying PDCA methodology.
