Maintenance Technician – Henley (Kingstowne)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Henley at Kingstowne community in Alexandria. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile
