Maintenance Technician – Hotel Facilities

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our hotel facilities team in Cairo. You will be the first point of contact for guest repair requests and ensure all equipment and building systems operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
• Carry out minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs.
• Maintain landscaping, sprinkler systems, and exterior grounds.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any repair work.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to subsequent shifts.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb independently.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to safety policies and confidentiality.
