Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and upkeep of plant assets. The role ensures that all maintenance requests are completed, breakdowns are resolved promptly, and preventive maintenance programs are executed on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and track all assigned maintenance service requests and emergency 24‑hour calls.
• Manage and supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring quality, performance and safety compliance.
• Plan, schedule and complete preventive maintenance activities and update the Plant Maintenance Master Plan.
• Coordinate special projects and support site project teams during design, installation and commissioning phases.
• Monitor and maintain building utilities, equipment history, and scorecards, adjusting maintenance strategies as needed.
• Oversee work performed by external contractors and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Maintain GMP, 5S and other safety standards, reporting any unusual occurrences to the Maintenance Manager.

Required profile

• Senior‑level technician with proven experience in industrial plant maintenance.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and environmental regulations.
• Ability to lead teams, communicate technical information clearly and manage resources effectively.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Required skills

• SAP for maintenance management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
• Development and execution of Plant Maintenance Master Plans.
• Machine history analysis and scorecard monitoring.
• Operational Excellence methodologies.
