Manager, IT Risk & Assurance

About the role

PwC is hiring a Manager for its Enterprise Risk Management practice, within Risk and Compliance services, based in Cairo. The team works with clients on risk and controls, helping them identify and assess risks affecting business objectives and improve the effectiveness of their governance, risk and compliance activities. As a manager in the Risk & Assurance Tower, you will lead parts of technology audit engagements, guide junior staff and ensure high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead components of technology audit, IT risk and assurance engagements for German and international clients.
• Coordinate with managers to deliver tailored audit programmes and ensure timely completion.
• Perform detailed reviews of work prepared by associates and give constructive coaching.
• Identify and escalate audit findings, exceptions and potential changes to the audit plan.
• Act as a liaison between project teams and subject-matter experts.
• Contribute to drafting deliverables, reports and client presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business IT or a related field.
• 6-12 years of experience in IT audit, technology assurance or risk consulting.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German speaking is a plus.
• Proven understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity and risk frameworks.

Required skills

• Preferred: professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• Preferred: experience managing multi-country or cross-functional audit teams.
• Preferred: knowledge of cloud technologies, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and security tools.
