Manager, Technology and Resilience (ETIC)

About the role

PwC's ETIC, Technology and Resilience team helps firms navigate a fast-moving regulatory landscape while managing robust, future-proof technology estates. The team shapes digital resilience frameworks under the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and helps firms improve their technology risk maturity. This is a management-level advisory role based in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the progress and planning of engagements from contracting to conclusion.
• Lead technology risk and resilience assessments, including control walkthroughs, gap analysis and remediation planning aligned to COBIT, ITIL, NIST CSF and ISO 27001/22301.
• Drive large-scale transformation programmes, including Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation, embedding resilience objectives in technology change.
• Run workshops with senior stakeholders to assess resilience maturity and define improvement plans.
• Support client operation assessments, write reports for clients, regulators and other stakeholders, and lead risk advisory and assurance engagements.
• Use platforms such as ServiceNow for resilience analysis and reporting, and leverage centrally developed AI tools for risk monitoring, resilience testing and compliance.
• Advise on cloud adoption and DevOps from a risk and resilience perspective.
• Support business development (tender responses, proposals, thought leadership) and conduct market research.
• Coach junior team members and support team-wide engagement activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrable track record in technology risk, digital resilience, IT audit or cyber-resilience (in-house or consulting).
• Deep understanding of UK/EU regulatory drivers (FCA/PRA Operational Resilience Policy, DORA, SYSC 8, PS 21/3, CP4/24) and frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001/22301, NIST CSF).
• Experience leading multi-workstream projects, producing C-suite deliverables and managing budgets.
• Experience in tech ops and tech change, including TOM implementation.
• Experience using AI in current role for risk and resilience use cases.
• Preferred: professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, PRINCE2/AgilePM, and cloud-service-provider assurance (AWS Well-Architected, Azure CAF, SOC 2).
