Manufacturing Process Operations Team Lead

About the role

The Manufacturing Process Operations Team Lead will drive daily production activities at PepsiCo’s North Africa facility, ensuring optimal efficiency, sustainability, and product quality. This role combines hands‑on production oversight with leadership of maintenance and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of the daily production plan and monitor true and net efficiency.
• Track water usage, energy consumption and waste, meeting established KPIs.
• Communicate machine downtime instantly and complete daily M&W production reports.
• Request and receive raw and packaging materials via SAP, and deliver finished goods to the warehouse.
• Maintain line cleanliness before, during and after each shift.
• Perform autonomous maintenance tasks (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, tightening) on the production line.
• Own work‑order creation and processing in SAP PM, including lubrication maps and inspection/tightening lists.
• Supervise preventive‑maintenance technicians, set and execute monthly PM plans, and coordinate corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to monitor and act on efficiency, sustainability and safety KPIs.
• Familiarity with plant‑level material flow and warehouse coordination.

Required skills

• SAP (including SAP PM module) for material and work‑order management.
• Knowledge of autonomous maintenance and preventive‑maintenance processes.
• Experience with production line lubrication, inspection and tightening procedures.
