Margin Portfolio Head (Operations Department)

About the role

The Margin Portfolio Head will lead the Operations Department, ensuring the effective implementation of portfolio policies and driving continuous improvement across the function. Reporting to the Head of Treasury Back Office, this role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Disseminate margin portfolio policies and monitor performance against annual and quarterly KPIs.
• Assist the department head in managing daily activities, workflow efficiency, and resource utilization.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate team members, providing clear objectives, feedback, and professional development plans.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer through on‑the‑job training and ensure smooth hand‑overs.
• Maintain strong collaboration with other bank functions, control units, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare RCSA quarterly samples, incident reports, and periodic analytical reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of bank functions, processes, and regulatory requirements (CBE governance).
• Proven change‑management capability with the ability to influence and secure commitment.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making, and leadership competencies.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
