Material Planner Engineer – FMCG Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Material Planner Engineer to join a leading multinational FMCG manufacturer in Egypt. The role focuses on balancing raw material, packaging, and finished‑goods inventories while ensuring seamless coordination across production, warehouse, and logistics functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material flow between production, warehouse, and logistics teams.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Conduct regular supply‑demand reviews and lead MRP/planning meetings.
• Monitor material and capacity availability, addressing gaps promptly.
• Analyze supply issues, implement corrective actions, and reduce inventory obsolescence.
• Control inventory costs while improving service levels and ensuring “Right First Time” execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in material or supply planning within FMCG or chemicals.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of MRP, production planning, and inventory management.
• Experience handling raw materials, packaging, and finished‑goods planning.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Residency in 6th of October City or Giza preferred.
