Material Planner – Foods

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Material Planner for its Foods division to ensure material availability and support production plans. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, internal logistics, and planning teams to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain material and finished‑goods requirements in SAP.
• Create material requirements using MRP Planned Orders, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
• Run and maintain the IPM model, monitor stock levels and safety stock.
• Identify and communicate material constraints that could affect production for the next three months.
• Collaborate with suppliers and sourcing units on forecasts and address bottlenecks.
• Plan for near‑expiry or expired materials and support new innovation projects.
• Raise purchase orders, follow up on confirmations, and monitor shipments of imported materials.
• Coordinate with internal logistics to ensure timely material availability on site.
