Material Planner – Production Materials

About the role

We are looking for a Material Planner to manage the creation and execution of process orders for bulk and raw ingredient materials, ensuring accurate inventory and uninterrupted supply for manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage process orders for bulk and raw ingredient materials, maintaining floor and system inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams (production, supply planning, procurement, warehouse, logistics, business development) and external partners (suppliers, carriers) to guarantee reliable material supply.
• Report and resolve production, vendor, shipping, or carrier issues promptly, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Execute material requirement planning (MRP) in SAP, define master data boundaries, and manage material call‑offs for raw, packaging, and finished‑product supply chains.
• Ensure vendor schedule compliance and support new product introductions with business development.
• Build SAP planning capability for self and key users, monitor inventory KPIs, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) processes, lead supply‑network projects, and drive loss analysis and elimination.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material planning, demand planning, inventory management, purchasing or forecasting.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and strong collaboration skills.
