Material Planner – Professional

About the role

As a Material Planner you will be a key driver of BSH's material supply operations, ensuring that production lines receive the right components at the right time. You will work closely with global material supply teams, development, engineering and suppliers to keep the supply chain efficient and responsive.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute material supply plans for finished goods, pre‑production items, accessories, spare parts and common parts.
• Create forecasts and align short, medium and long‑term supplier capacities with production needs.
• Manage phase‑in and phase‑out activities, coordinating with development, industrial engineering, production and suppliers.
• Optimize inventory levels and material coverage to balance production requirements with warehouse efficiency.
• Prepare supply‑chain agreements and conduct negotiations with suppliers in line with global material supply policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably within a global material supply chain.
• Proven experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Strong understanding of supplier management and operational material supply processes.
