MEA EPM Manager - GFIP

About the role

Mars is looking for an MEA EPM Manager in Cairo to deliver a portfolio of business-critical and complex projects through cross-functional teams. The role requires high-quality project management skills and cross-functional leadership, using Mars's project and process management tools through the QUEST Stage Gate process. It also ensures the portfolio pipeline and resource sufficiency needed to drive business results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of activities across categories such as Gum, Fruity Confection, Petcare and Food, and run Activity Task Group meetings to align scope, manage timelines and surface risks.
• Facilitate risk assessment and mitigation discussions and share them with stakeholders in a timely way.
• Ensure activity objectives, deliverables and success criteria are agreed and met throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive the Activity Management process and the QUEST Stage Gate process, with timely submissions, and maintain a rolling 3-year activity pipeline.
• Guide teams to follow the QUEST process and use the PPM tool so data and documents are submitted on time at each gate.
• Support continuous improvement of the activity management process, including project learning and on-time, right-first-time stage gate deliverables.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field.
• Good facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience or deep understanding of multiple functions such as marketing, supply chain, planning, finance, sales, R&D and IT project management.
• Understanding of new product development and go-to-market commercialization, and of supply chain processes.
