Mechanical Engineer

About the role

KB Architects is seeking a full‑time Mechanical Engineer to join its on‑site team in Qesm El Maadi. You will be responsible for designing, analysing, and developing mechanical systems for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and review CAD models and technical drawings for mechanical components.
• Perform calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and support project planning activities.
• Participate in site visits to resolve technical issues and contribute to value‑engineering efforts.
• Assist R&D initiatives by evaluating new materials, methods, and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong foundation in mechanical system design and analysis.
• Hands‑on experience in machine design applied to building and infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, codes, and standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
