Mechanical Maintenance Intern

About the role

Join Air Liquide’s asset integrity team as a Mechanical Maintenance Intern. You will work side‑by‑side with experienced maintenance engineers to monitor, analyze and maintain mechanical assets, helping to maximise uptime, reliability and safety across operations.

Key responsibilities

• Update and control documentation, including P&ID revisions.
• Support procurement management in the assigned area and follow the procurement plan with discipline owners.
• Upgrade CMMS data quality using MAXIMO and ensure accurate asset records.
• Develop and maintain an equipment spare‑parts database.
• Review and improve inventory coding, set min/max stock levels, configure alarms and monitor preservation conditions.
• Assist in creating a second‑condition equipment asset control system for mechanical assets.
• Support ongoing projects and planned Turn‑Around‑Repair (TAR) activities in the area.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite, especially Google Sheets or MS Excel for asset tracking.
• Experience or strong interest in using AI tools to improve reporting and technical research.
• Fluent English communication skills.
