Mechanical Maintenance Junior Manager

About the role

Danone is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Junior Manager to ensure reliable and efficient performance of its production lines. You will lead maintenance activities, drive preventive maintenance programs, and support troubleshooting and equipment improvements while upholding safety and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain target net efficiency and improve machine utilization according to maintenance KPIs.
• Supervise day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance operations and ensure work processes follow design specifications.
• Develop, monitor and enforce preventive‑maintenance compliance for all production lines.
• Lead major breakdown troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage the introduction of new machinery and equipment from design drawings.
• Oversee equipment modifications, replacements and welding activities to minimise downtime.
• Control critical spare‑parts inventory and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Contribute to energy‑consumption reduction and overall production‑area efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Power).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proven capability to manage and develop effective teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP.
