Mechanical Site Section Head

About the role

The Mechanical Site Section Head is responsible for overseeing all mechanical activities on a construction site, ensuring that work is performed safely, on schedule, and in line with engineering specifications. This senior position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate resources effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, supervising and monitoring site engineers.
• Inspect the construction site to verify progress, compliance with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Determine the most appropriate construction methods and obtain approval from the Construction Manager.
• Review daily elevated reports before forwarding them to the Construction Manager.
• Supervise the assigned team, allocating material and manpower to maximise efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years in a similar leadership role.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling and construction processes.
