Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to support the delivery of EPC projects by reviewing engineering deliverables, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with specifications and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate engineering deliverables, IFC drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Validate Material Take‑Offs (MTOs), Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs) and procurement packages.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical, instrumentation and process disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Support procurement by reviewing vendor documents, technical submittals and material compliance.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure timely issuance of deliverables.
• Review piping layouts, pipeline alignments, supports, valve stations and mechanical equipment arrangements.
• Manage technical queries (TQs), RFIs, deviations and design clarifications with clients and consultants.
• Provide engineering support during construction, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare technical reports, correspondence and project progress updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office roles on EPC projects.
• Hands‑on experience with piping, pipeline, oil & gas, water transmission or industrial infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC execution, engineering workflows and technical coordination.
• Familiarity with international codes such as ASME, API, ASTM; knowledge of client standards (e.g., Aramco) is a plus.
