Mechanical Tender Engineer

About the role

SBS PROTECH is seeking a Mechanical Tender Engineer to join its engineering and EPC team. You will be responsible for turning tender documents into competitive technical and commercial proposals for mechanical projects across oil & gas, industrial and fire‑fighting sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender specifications, drawings and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimates, BOQs and pricing sheets.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure technical compliance.
• Support bid clarifications and ensure timely tender submissions.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement and planning teams during the tender stage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in tendering, estimation or technical office roles.
• Experience in EPC, oil & gas, industrial or fire‑fighting projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, material take‑off and cost estimation.
• Good understanding of tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs and commercial requirements.
