Mechanical Tendering Engineer – Construction

About the role

The Mechanical Tendering Engineer will join our Cairo office to lead the preparation and submission of tender documents for construction projects. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a strong mechanical engineering background and the ability to analyse project specifications, coordinate with suppliers and manage the procurement workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender quotations for mechanical works.
• Analyse project drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Communicate technical queries and negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage the end‑to‑end tendering and procurement process, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to integrate mechanical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical tendering within the construction sector.
• Proven experience in commercial building projects is an advantage.
• Ability to start within 10 days of offer.
