Medical Science Liaison

About the role

Amgen is seeking a field‑based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a medical expert within a defined territory. The role involves communicating complex scientific and product information to healthcare decision makers and supporting cross‑functional medical education activities.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with healthcare professionals to convey Amgen’s scientific platform and product data.
• Provide accurate, clear, and value‑based information on groundbreaking science and products.
• Develop and execute innovative, non‑traditional MSL strategies aligned with therapeutic area (TA) products and pipeline molecules.
• Represent Amgen at advisory boards, congresses, and professional association meetings.
• Collect and share field observations and insights with internal medical partners.
• Support the scientific engagement plan (SEP) and local R&D tactics within the territory.
• Assist with speaker training and ensure speakers are updated on new data.
• Collaborate compliantly with cross‑functional colleagues and serve as the main point of contact for the territory.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MSL.
• Clinical experience in Oncology, Hematology and/or Bone therapeutic areas is preferred.
• 5 or more years of industry experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs within a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific information professionally.
• Self‑accountable, innovative mindset aligned with Amgen’s values.
