Mendix Developer

About the role

Nexttec Technology is looking for a skilled Mendix Developer to design, build, and deliver high‑quality Mendix applications for its clients. You will collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to turn business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Mendix applications using best‑practice architecture and development patterns.
• Translate business requirements into robust Mendix solutions, including complex domain models, microflows, nanoflows, workflows, integrations, and UI components.
• Build custom Java actions and ensure they follow Java best practices and company conventions.
• Implement comprehensive Mendix security models (user roles, module roles, entity and page access) adhering to the principle of least privilege.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and maintain clean, readable code with thorough documentation.
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems via REST, SOAP, OData, Kafka, databases, and identity providers such as OIDC and Azure AD.
• Design and deliver Mendix mobile apps with offline synchronization, secure local data handling, and iOS/Android build and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior and intermediate Mendix developers, lead technical discussions, and participate in solution‑design workshops and sprint planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing enterprise‑grade Mendix applications.
• Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, infrastructure teams, and external stakeholders.
• Experience leading technical discussions and mentoring less‑experienced developers.
• Excellent documentation discipline and ability to produce clear technical delivery artifacts.
