Mendix Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Mendix Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality Mendix applications that align with business objectives. The role blends deep technical expertise in the Mendix low‑code platform with mentorship of junior developers and close collaboration with product owners and architects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy Mendix applications using best‑practice architecture and development patterns.
• Translate business requirements into scalable domain models, microflows, nanoflows, UI components and integrations.
• Build custom Java actions and reusable modules that can be shared across projects.
• Implement robust Mendix security models (user roles, entity access, page access) following the principle of least privilege.
• Ensure performance, scalability and reliability through code reviews, monitoring and DevOps practices.
• Integrate Mendix solutions with external systems via REST, SOAP, OData, Kafka, databases and identity providers (OIDC, Azure AD).
• Develop mobile applications with offline synchronization, secure local data handling and iOS/Android build processes.
• Document APIs, technical designs and handover materials (LLD, API specs, in‑app documentation).
• Mentor junior and intermediate Mendix developers and lead technical workshops.

Required profile

• Strong experience delivering end‑to‑end Mendix solutions in a corporate environment.
• Ability to guide and coach less‑experienced developers.
• Excellent communication skills for working with business analysts, product owners and infrastructure teams.
• Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to documentation and code quality.
