MEP Construction Manager

About the role

The MEP Construction Manager leads and coordinates all site activities across multiple sections, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This senior role oversees material handling, staff attendance, procurement, and equipment utilization on construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise section head engineers to achieve project deliverables.
• Manage material handling, storage, and site logistics, including concrete batch plants and steel workshops.
• Control staff attendance, overtime, procurement, stores, accommodation, and equipment usage.
• Allocate direct staff, monitor consumption of company‑supplied materials, and coordinate with supporting divisions.
• Review contract drawings, specifications, cost estimates, manpower plans, and schedules, providing comments and clarifications.
• Qualify, select, and manage subcontractors required for the project.
• Establish site layout for offices, stores, workshops, mobile equipment routes, and fixed equipment locations such as tower cranes.
• Plan and allocate resources, including manpower and construction equipment, to meet schedule and budget.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Preferred certifications: PRMG, PMP, or an MBA.
