Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) Setter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) Setter to join our family‑owned brokerage. In this phone‑based sales position you will guide business owners from initial contact through a complete, fundable submission, working with warm inbound leads during U.S. business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Contact and qualify warm inbound funding leads.
• Build relationships with business owners and assess their eligibility for MCA funding.
• Collect completed applications and required business bank statements.
• Review bank statements to identify fundable opportunities.
• Follow up on incomplete or pending applications.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and keep the pipeline updated.
• Coordinate with closers and submission specialists to ensure a smooth hand‑off.
• Meet activity and submission goals while communicating professionally via phone, email, and text.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) funding.
• Background as an MCA Setter, Sales Representative, or Funding Specialist.
• Strong understanding of MCA terminology such as factor rates, holdbacks, and stacking.
• Ability to review and evaluate business bank statements.
• Comfortable managing a high volume of calls and follow‑ups.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM platform (preferably GoHighLevel).
• Experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Familiarity with phone and SMS communication tools.
• Ability to work with email platforms for outreach and follow‑up.
