Merchant Onboarding Manager II

About the role

We are seeking a high‑impact leader to own the performance, structure and scalability of Tabby’s SME sales and activation engine. The role manages a large team of tele‑sales and onboarding specialists, guiding merchants from prospect to live and transacting status while driving productivity through technology and data‑driven processes.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train and lead Inside Sales Managers and Executives, building a culture focused on call volume, connect rates, conversion rates and time‑to‑live.
• Integrate AI, automation and CRM tools to pre‑qualify leads, reducing manual effort and increasing selling time per agent.
• Own end‑to‑end funnel metrics, identify leakage points, and balance speed with quality to launch merchants quickly and correctly.
• Design and document SOPs and playbooks, removing bottlenecks between Sales, Risk and Operations.
• Define and track success metrics through dashboards, linking team outcomes to individual targets.
• Serve as the primary bridge between RevOps, Risk, Legal, Product and Tech, translating cross‑functional constraints into clear actions.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing large tele‑sales or onboarding teams.
• Deep understanding of sales floor dynamics, funnel mechanics and operational rigor.
• Ability to drive efficiency through technology adoption and data‑focused decision making.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with RevOps, Risk, Legal and Product teams.
