Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Support Engineer - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Operate Application Management Services (AMS) is recruiting a Senior Associate Technical Support Engineer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FinOps). The role joins an established team of Support Consultants who deliver support and enhancement services to Dynamics clients in the UK and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Dynamics 365 FinOps, using debugging and problem-solving techniques to manage issues effectively.
• Maintain and manage D365 FinOps environments, keeping them stable, reliable and performant.
• Use Life Cycle Services (LCS) to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with Azure Logic Apps and integrate them with D365FO operations when needed.
• Resolve performance, configuration and operational issues so that downtime and productivity loss are kept to a minimum.
• Use debugging tools such as trace parser and KSQL to identify and fix technical issues.
• Proactively monitor the D365FO environment and processes to spot patterns that could cause problems.
• Act as technical point of contact for internal stakeholders, giving regular updates on bug fixes, technical difficulties and general queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-7 years of experience with Dynamics 365 FinOps in a support or development role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of Azure Logic Apps, LCS diagnostics and related technologies.
• Experience in bug fixing, issue tracing and using debug tools such as trace parser and KSQL.
• Strong technical mindset.
