Microsoft Teams Voice & UC Solution Engineer - Manager

About the role

PwC's ETIC in Cairo is hiring a manager to design, assess and deliver Microsoft Teams Voice and enterprise telephony solutions across complex, multi-site IT environments. The role leads end-to-end architecture, migration planning and rollout of unified communications, keeping them aligned with enterprise infrastructure standards and causing minimal business disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing IT and telephony environments and identify gaps against global standards.
• Design Microsoft Teams Phone solutions, including Direct Routing, SBC architecture, dial plans, call routing and contact center integration (Luware, Anywhere365).
• Plan and execute migrations: SBC configuration, number porting, Teams Voice policies, network readiness, identity dependencies and cutover strategies.
• Coordinate with network, AD/Entra, M365, security and server/client teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Validate configurations, troubleshoot call quality and SIP issues, and ensure stable service rollout.
• Produce architecture documents, migration playbooks and operations handover packages.
• Support adoption and change efforts and ensure a smooth user transition to new voice capabilities.

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Voice, Direct Routing, SIP, PSTN and SBCs (AudioCodes).
• Solid knowledge of M365, Exchange Online and Entra ID/AD.
• Experience in large-scale UC migrations and multi-country environments.
• Preferred: certifications such as MS-720, MS-700, AZ-104, SC-300 and AudioCodes SBC; practical experience in contact center integrations and hybrid/cloud identity models.
