National Sales Manager – Modern Trade

About the role

Kraft Heinz is seeking a National Sales Manager – Modern Trade to lead growth, profitability and market share of its portfolio across Modern Trade channels in Egypt. The role will shape route‑to‑market strategies, manage joint business plans with key retailers and head a high‑performing key‑account team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full Modern Trade P&L, driving top‑line revenue and bottom‑line profitability.
• Develop and execute the annual channel business plan aligned with the company’s commercial blueprint.
• Negotiate and secure Joint Business Plans with major retailers such as Carrefour, Lulu, Panda and Spinneys.
• Design and implement Route‑to‑Market frameworks to ensure flawless execution across all key‑account branches.
• Collaborate with Trade Marketing on visibility, activation and pricing programmes; monitor KPIs like planogram compliance, share of voice and out‑of‑stock levels.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of Key Account Managers and field supervisors, fostering a merit‑based culture.
• Partner with Demand Planning and Logistics to improve forecast accuracy and avoid supply‑chain disruptions.
• Provide senior leadership with market intelligence, competitor insights and shopper trends.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of commercial experience in FMCG sales, key‑account management or trade marketing, with at least 4‑5 years leading Modern Trade.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale P&Ls and negotiating complex Joint Business Plans with major retailers.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable commercial strategies.
