Network Engineer – ELV & Low‑Current Systems

About the role

Fiber Com is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, install, test and maintain networking and ELV infrastructure for hospitality projects in Cairo. The role is on‑site and requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work under pressure and close coordination with clients and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, install and maintain switches, routers, access points, VLANs and IP‑based networks.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Public Address (PA) and audio systems.
• Deploy and support IP telephony / hotel IP phone solutions.
• Implement and maintain access control systems, including controllers, readers and locks.
• Integrate ELV systems over IP networks and perform system testing, commissioning and maintenance.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare technical reports, network diagrams and as‑built documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams to ensure compliance with specifications, quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Network Engineer.
• Experience with hospitality or hotel projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and network diagrams.
• Strong communication, teamwork and ability to meet project deadlines.

Required skills

• TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi.
• Network troubleshooting and configuration of switches and access points.
• Public Address (PA) and audio system integration.
• IP Telephony and hotel IP phone systems.
• Access Control systems and related network connectivity.
• ELV systems integration over IP networks.
• CCTV systems (advantageous).
• CCNA certification (preferred).
