Network Officer – Healthcare Provider Network Management

About the role

The Network Officer will support MedNet Egypt’s managed‑care operations by coordinating the healthcare provider network in line with the business plan. This role involves handling appointment requests, managing provider data, and ensuring smooth communication between insurers, providers, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Receive check‑up requests from insurance companies and schedule appointments with selected providers.
• Collect test results and forward them to the insurance companies.
• Respond to client complaints received via customer service or client relations, acting as a second‑line investigator.
• Reactivate suspended provider services and resolve related issues.
• Handle provider inquiries via phone, meetings, or call centre and record all requests.
• Follow up on provider payments, issue purchase orders, and send SWIFT codes on request.
• Maintain and update provider data, including adding new branches and terminating inactive providers after thorough investigation.
• Support network campaigns and test cash rates with providers.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of network processes, cost reduction, and productivity.
• Meet with providers to maintain relationships and address their inquiries.

Required profile

• Medical doctor or diploma in Hospital Administration, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory Technology, Biology or Chemistry.
• 1–3 years of experience in a network environment within the local TPA/medical insurance sector (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong leadership, planning, organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively both locally and internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
