Non Lactam Liquid Shift Supervisor

About the role

GSK is hiring a Non Lactam Liquid Shift Supervisor who holds overall responsibility for the correct and efficient operation of the production line during his shift. The main goal is to meet set production targets with the highest quality and the highest practicable efficiencies. The position is fully on-site and follows a shift-based schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safety requirements are met, enforce safety instructions, encourage safe behaviour and report any GMP deviations
• Identify safety risks in the operation area and work with the team to minimise them
• Ensure good quality products, correct raw materials and packaging, and a timely supply of materials
• Organise an efficient start-up with the foreman and supervise all production-line operations with good efficiency and labour control
• Provide guidance to a team of production machine operators and line leaders
• Compile data for daily and monthly production and productivity reports, collate and supply data, and report machinery malfunctions to Engineering
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping and personal hygiene standards, and adhere to Data Integrity and ALCOA principles
• Participate in investigations and implement CAPAs, initiate change controls, follow SOPs and ensure proper training

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science
• Zero to three years of experience in a supervisory position within the pharmaceutical industry
• In-depth knowledge of bottling and canning plant machinery and services, and of processing and packaging
• Fluent Arabic and a good level of written and spoken English
• Ability to solve operational problems quickly, with good supervision, communication and training skills

Required skills

• Good knowledge and command of SAP
• Good computer skills
• Data integrity and GxP compliance awareness
