OCS Manager – Rail Transit Projects

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking an experienced OCS Manager to lead the design, installation and commissioning of Overhead Contact Systems (OCS) for the Red & Blue Lines of the EET High Speed Project in Cairo, Egypt. The role ensures safe, reliable electrical power supply to trains and integrates OCS work with overall system delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review and supervise the design, installation and commissioning of OCS, including catenary wires, supports and electrical components.
• Coordinate technical integration of system works across the project.
• Guarantee OCS performance, safety and uninterrupted power to rolling stock.
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and deliver reports for management, clients and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering.
• Overall professional experience of at least 12 years.
• Minimum 7 years in rail transit projects, specifically OCS design and implementation.
• At least 3 years managing and implementing transport infrastructure projects, including experience on a high‑speed rail project.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English.
