O&M Site Coordinator

About the role

Join Alcazar Energy as an O&M Site Coordinator in Cairo, overseeing real‑time turbine and site performance from the control room. You will ensure safe, efficient operation of the wind farm while supporting the O&M team and contractors on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance via SCADA, track production, alarms and faults, and escalate issues as needed.
• Execute turbine shutdowns and restarts according to environmental permits and the Shutdown on Demand protocol.
• Conduct site rounds, visual inspections, and report abnormal weather, grid conditions or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, operational records and hand over to incoming operators.
• Support O&M contractors, coordinate site access, permits and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational qualification in electrical, mechanical or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• GWO certification and a valid driver’s license.
• 2‑4 years of experience in wind farm operations, control‑room monitoring or industrial site operations.
• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays, on‑site at GEZ.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SCADA systems.
• Basic understanding of turbine operation.
