On-Page SEO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven On‑Page SEO Specialist to optimise website content, improve search rankings and enhance user experience. This hybrid position blends SEO strategy, content optimisation and basic technical SEO to accelerate organic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs and on‑page elements across the site.
• Conduct keyword research and implement targeted keywords while respecting search intent.
• Improve internal linking structure, site architecture and page speed, including image optimisation and Core Web Vitals.
• Audit existing content, update for SEO performance and collaborate with writers to produce SEO‑friendly copy.
• Identify and resolve on‑page issues such as broken links, duplicate content and indexing errors.
• Work with developers on technical improvements, mobile optimisation and schema markup.
• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic and generate performance reports using Google Search Console, GA4 and SEO platforms.
• Monitor competitors and industry trends to inform optimisation tactics.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of on‑page SEO principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with HTML and CMS platforms, preferably WordPress.
• Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush or Moz.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
