OPD Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OPD (Outpatient Department) Manager to lead the daily operations of our outpatient services in a leading Egyptian hospital. The role focuses on optimizing patient flow, enhancing the patient experience, and ensuring seamless coordination with clinical and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Outpatient Department to maintain efficient workflow.
• Manage patient flow, reduce waiting times, and improve overall patient satisfaction.
• Supervise reception, customer service, and administrative staff within the OPD.
• Coordinate with physicians and supporting departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor departmental KPIs, patient satisfaction scores, and operational performance.
• Address patient complaints promptly and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare regular operational reports and propose continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related medical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, preferably in an OPD supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Good knowledge of healthcare quality standards.

Required skills

• Experience with Hospital Information Systems (DMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
