Operational Excellence & Digitalization Director

About the role

The Operational Excellence & Digitalization Director will lead continuous improvement, lean transformation and digital initiatives across all plant functions. The role is pivotal to achieving strategic objectives, boosting productivity, enhancing resource utilization and delivering world‑class operational performance while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and run a Site PMO to support program and project execution, track outcomes and manage risks.
• Lead the implementation of the Operational Excellence program, delivering cross‑functional process improvement projects.
• Develop organizational capabilities for a flexible, high‑performance operation focused on efficiency, customer service and competitiveness.
• Manage and mentor direct and indirect teams to deliver improvement initiatives and ensure sustainable performance improvement.
• Identify capacity constraints, plan infrastructure investments and support future business requirements.
• Set up measurement and reporting systems to capture efficiency gains.
• Train, coach and certify process improvement teams to achieve OE certification levels locally and globally.
• Promote best‑practice sharing through a network of lean contacts and drive cross‑functional replication.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operational excellence, continuous improvement or digitalization programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross‑functional teams and delivering large‑scale projects.
• Ability to influence mindsets, behaviors and management infrastructure to support transformation toward world‑class operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on value creation and cost optimization.
