Operations and Maintenance Engineer – Alexandria

About the role

The Operations and Maintenance Engineer will ensure the reliable performance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and hotel facilities in Alexandria. You will lead preventive maintenance initiatives and support emergency response for critical building services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical grids, water distribution, and emergency machinery.
• Develop and optimise Preventive Maintenance (PM) programmes for 24/7 hotel operations.
• Oversee civil works including high‑durability paints, decorative finishes, and various flooring types such as marble, wood, and industrial surfaces.
• Track work orders and generate reports using CRM/Maintenance Management Systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in the hospitality sector or similar specialised buildings.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot heavy mechanical equipment and manage civil finishing projects.
