Operations Insights Manager

About the role

Bupa is hiring an Operations Insights Service Manager in Cairo, Egypt, on a fixed-term full-time basis. The role leads the Operations Insight function within the Bupa Capability Centre, delivering reporting, analytics and business insight that supports operational teams and senior leaders. It is a key position in shaping how data is used across a large international healthcare organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of operational reporting, analytics and insight across BCC Operations.
• Produce and present performance reports and dashboards to operational and executive stakeholders.
• Identify trends in customer demand and operational performance and turn them into practical recommendations.
• Support governance forums and leadership teams with accurate, timely management information.
• Drive the development of business intelligence solutions and visual reporting tools.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand changing insight needs and support strategic decisions.
• Conduct root cause analysis to find opportunities for service improvements and efficiencies.
• Support transformation projects with data-driven insight throughout their lifecycle.
• Share best practice across Bupa's analytics and business teams and maintain robust reporting continuity and governance.

Required profile

• Experience leading and developing teams in operational insight reporting (essential).
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience, ideally in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience leading reporting, insight, analytics or business intelligence functions.
• Strong stakeholder management, including work with senior leaders.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to understand operational and financial drivers.
• Experience in a regulated environment and across international teams would be advantageous.

Required skills

• SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel and VBA.
• Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modelling, DAX measures and advanced visualisations.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
