Operations Manager – Shopping Centers

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead the strategic and day‑to‑day functions of our shopping centre. The successful candidate will build strong tenant relationships, drive operational efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan covering all mall operations.
• Maintain long‑term, mutually beneficial relationships with existing tenants and retail groups.
• Implement approved procedures and systems across all mall functions, ensuring seamless internal collaboration.
• Coordinate regular and periodic maintenance plans with department heads.
• Oversee collection of tenant dues and ensure timely resolution of financial issues.
• Address tenant complaints promptly, identifying root causes and ensuring legal compliance.
• Ensure all operations adhere to applicable legal standards and regulations.
• Develop and protect the mall’s corporate brand identity.
• Initiate and implement strategies to improve customer service and the shopping experience.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall mall objectives.

Required profile

• MBA in Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mall management or a comparable role.
• Strong business acumen with solid knowledge of commercial facilities management.
• Proven experience in leasing contracts, negotiations, and tender management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑oriented mindset.
