Operations Officer

About the role

As an Operations Officer at Serious, you will support day‑to‑day trucking operations, focusing on refrigerated (reefer) fleet movements across domestic and international routes. You will collaborate with internal teams, drivers and customers to ensure accurate trip execution, timely delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily trucking operations (reefer and dry), including trip documentation, dispatch follow‑up and delivery execution.
• Communicate with customers, drivers and transport partners to ensure smooth and timely freight movement.
• Maintain accurate records for shipments, operational data and customer information.
• Respond to operational inquiries and resolve issues in line with company standards.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on trip status, exceptions and performance insights for management.
• Ensure operations comply with Serious company policies and required standards.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives across transport workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in trucking or logistics operations.
• Exposure to trailer operations is a strong advantage.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Customer‑service mindset with high follow‑up discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
