Operations & Planning Engineer (Manufacturing Industry)

About the role

The Operations & Planning Engineer will support production planning, monitor operational performance, and ensure that manufacturing capacity aligns with business demand. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to track KPIs, prepare performance reports, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Support production planning and monitor manufacturing capacity.
• Track operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
• Identify operational issues and assist with root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to align plans and forecasts.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities.
• Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis with Finance.
• Provide operational data and productivity reports for performance management.
• Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, operations, or maintenance.
• Experience working in factory/manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of planning, capacity management, and KPI tracking.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
